Medha Kotwal Lele Vs Union of India, 2013
In PIL filed on the
ground that the guidelines issued in the case of Vishaka Vs State of
Rajasthan were not being followed and implemented.
It was stated the that women's were
still being subjected to incidences of sexual harassment at their work
place & made to suffer horror, insult.
The court held – their must be
adherence and observance of the Vishaka guideline.
All states were asked to make
amendments in their service rule.
